1. Delivery
1.1 Orders are dispatched by courier to the customer’s premises.
1.2 For safes, standard delivery is defined by the courier as kerbside drop off. This service applies to Mainland UK only and excludes the Scottish Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland.
1.3 Kerbside drop off does not include positioning the safe within the premises.
1.4 Due to weight and associated handling risks, large safes require installation by specialist teams.
1.5 Pricing for standard installations is shown on the website.
1.6 Installations involving stairs, restricted access, or other obstacles will require a bespoke quotation. Customers should contact us on 07751 669214 when placing an order.
2. Installation Responsibilities
2.1 Customers choosing to self install accept full responsibility for compliance with the manufacturer’s installation specifications and any associated cash rating.
2.2 Where installation is carried out by our team, the customer is responsible for ensuring the chosen location is suitable.
2.3 The installation area must be fully cleared prior to arrival, including removal of floor coverings, skirting, trunking, or any other obstructions where relevant.
3. Stock Availability
3.1 All products are offered strictly subject to availability.
3.2 Stock levels are not displayed online as items are ordinarily obtainable within a reasonable timeframe; however, availability may vary with demand.
3.3 Any material or exceptional delay will be noted on the relevant product page.
3.4 Where timing is critical, customers are advised to contact us directly to confirm availability before placing an order.
4. Warranty
4.1 All products are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty, which applies in full.
5. Right to Refuse Orders
5.1 We reserve the right to refuse any order, in whole or in part.
5.2 For safe purchases, we may request additional information to determine whether supply is appropriate.
5.3 Safesafe accepts no liability—without prejudice to statutory rights—where, in our reasonable opinion, grounds exist to decline shipment.
5.4 In such cases, customers will be notified promptly and any payments refunded immediately.
6. Receipt of Goods
6.1 All deliveries must be signed for upon receipt.
6.2 Any damage sustained in transit must be recorded at the point of delivery.
7. Access & Aborted Deliveries
7.1 We can deliver to upper floors or difficult locations subject to an agreed additional charge.
7.2 If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information, inaccessible areas, lifts out of service, or other unforeseen obstacles, an aborted delivery charge will apply.
8. Export Orders
8.1 For orders intended for export outside the United Kingdom, Safesafe will deliver goods to the customer’s nominated shipping agent.
8.2 Our responsibility and liability extend only to the care, custody, and control of the goods while in transit to that agent.
8.3 Once the goods are tendered to and accepted by the nominated agent, delivery is deemed complete.
8.4 All risk—including loss, damage, or deterioration—transfers to the customer at that point.
9. Returns
9.1 Goods may be returned within 30 days, subject to obtaining an RMA number from Safesafe. Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.
9.2 Except in exceptional circumstances, return postage and packing costs are borne by the customer.
9.3 Returned goods must be in their original packaging, with all manuals and accessories, unused, and in as new condition.
9.4 Safes supplied via kerbside drop off must be palletised, securely packaged, and strapped for transport.
9.5 For items advertised as “free delivery”, refunds will include a deduction equal to the original delivery cost incurred by Safesafe.
9.6 Items must be returned to the address provided with the RMA. Postage and packing costs are non refundable unless the goods are faulty or damaged.
9.7 Customers are strongly advised to photograph goods prior to dispatch for return.
9.8 Refunds will be processed upon satisfactory inspection of the returned goods and credited within 31 days.
9.9 Professional installation services and bespoke modifications are non refundable.
9.10 Returned items may be subject to a restocking fee, applied at Safesafe’s discretion.
