The BS1946E LK Battery Commander Pro offers a versatile internal locker configuration, providing a secure and efficient solution for storing and charging lithium‑ion batteries. It is supplied with four individual lockers, each fitted with a high‑quality key lock, with the option to upgrade to a fully featured electronic lock with public or private audit trail capability. Every compartment includes two internal plug sockets, allowing devices and lithium‑ion batteries to be safely stored and charged simultaneously.

FIRE PROTECTION (INSIDE TO OUTSIDE) – VDMA 24994:2024-08 Certified for a maximum single battery of 2500Wh (BS1941) to 4750Wh (BS1946)* and total capacity from 2500Wh (BS1941) to 19000Wh (BS1946).* See table for detailed capacity per model.

FIRE PROTECTION (OUTSIDE TO INSIDE) – Tested to EN 14470-1 – Fire protection for 90 minutes from outside to in. NT Fire 017-120p certified. 

DROP TEST – Fire and impact tested from 9.1 metres for resistance to the impact of falling through the burning floors of a building.

TEMPERATURE MONITOR – For safety, the cabinet comes as standard with an external temperature warning lamp, that gives an early warning of a potential issue with a battery overheating. In the event of excessive heat inside the cabinet, the control unit immediately cuts power to chargers and sounds an alarm.

DOOR ALARM – The door is fitted with sensors to prevent it being left open. In the event the door is left open, the power will be cut, and no charging will take place. A buzzer will also sound to warn you.

FIRE ALARM CONNECTION – The control unit can be connected to the building fire alarm to trigger the building system and alert the fire brigade.

SIREN & STROBE – The unit is fitted with a siren and strobe light that is triggered in the event of overheat or thermal runaway. Power to the cabinet will also be cut and no charging will take place until the cabinet is back in normal working range.

WARNING LABELS – Fitted with warning labels in accordance with ISO 3864 and ISO 7010, as well as the European directive 92/58/EEC.

MULTIPOINT LOCKING – Fitted with an advanced reinforced multipoint locking system that securely seal the doors. Even in the event of the most severe battery explosion, the doors will remain securely closed.

CONSTRUCTION – Double wall safe construction with internal fill of patented Styronite F insulation.

LOCKING -  Door fitted with an advanced high security touchscreen keypad & fingerprint lock with clear LED display, battery Indicator, internal alarm, multi user codes, dual mode, hidden code and scrambled code that can be programmed as standard with up to 32 fingerprints.
